During operation, the crusher’s motor drives the eccentric shaft via transmission components like belts or gears. Under the eccentric shaft’s forced movement, the mantle (moving cone) rotates and swings in a precise, controlled path.
When the mantle moves close to the concave (fixed cone), it forms a closed crushing cavity. Raw materials enter this cavity and undergo repeated pressing and impact forces from the mantle and concave.
Once broken to the target size, the materials are discharged from the crusher’s bottom by gravity, ready for the next processing stage.
